Born in 1977 Mussoorie, and a self-taught artist, art has been an intrinsic part of Amar Sultan’s life since childhood. He made his first strokes under his father’s guidance, and thereon the journey has been an exciting one. Faced with different situations in his life, he has come through because of what he chose for himself. His works are mainly oils on canvases.
The visual language is diverse and includes a vibrant palette, exquisite strokes, strong textures, inimitable style and dynamic energy. The works are inspired from the flight of pigeons as symbolic of peace and their interactions with their human neighbours. Their ever ceasing fluttering and cooing are one of many sounds of our day-to-day life. How these winged creatures are next in number to humans in our immediate neighbourhood? How an unspoken and unwritten understanding, of old times has grown manifolds. His work shuns all other contradictions of the world where we live in. There is a softness and simplicity, which is his unique artistic language.

"Mojarto.com is one of the biggest online art galleries in India. Since there is high viewership of this website, you are open to a very good market for your work. It is the only gallery where buyers meet the artists directly. The process of buying paintings online through Mojarto.com is easy and effortless. It is a good and useful online platform for established as well as upcoming artists. I have been associated with Mojarto.com, for quite some time now. Owing to my age and reduced mobility, I can easily share my creations online with the rest of the world. This is very interesting and magical feature of Mojarto.com. I am really very happy to work as an artist with this online art gallery. About the experience with Mojarto.com- It is wonderful! Thanks!"
